I'm intrigued, but I can't think of much more that you'd use it for besides cereal, the occasional box of mac and cheese, and of course, drinking.
What about when it's consumed? I wouldn't think that hourly would be feasible, but breakfast, lunch, and dinner consumption might be interesting. Or... what's the average lifespan of a gallon of milk in the apartment?
Our friends had a similar idea first: In the fall of 2002, three dairy aficionados started a friendly wager to see how much milk their apartment would consume. We fully credit the ladies of 415 Benjamin for shining their light for us to follow.

Nevermind, that would just be the inverse of your pace, I suppose. What about a record for fastest and slowest consumed? Most consumed in one sitting?
I think the idea of showing how we consume it is going to be more showing what we drink it with.
